At the Command prompt, enter DXBIN. In the Select DXB File dialog box, find and select the DXB file you want to import. I am able to import a pdf of the same AutoCAD file but the objects do not seem to respond in CorelDRAW as I was used to with the dxf files in the past. When I experienced this I greatly simplified the file to be imported, a simple rectangle, in an effort to make it work. Select File Import. An Import dialog box appears. Navigate the the place your hard drive where your CAD file is saved. From the Files of Type drop-down list, select AutoCAD Files (.dwg,.dxf). AutoCAD.DWG Filter. Work with the latest AutoCADĀ® and AutoCAD LT files with support for.DWG through 2016 file format so that you can collaborate with people using even the latest AutodeskĀ® software versions. Users can now easily import old TurboCAD Mac files when saved to this format.
How to create a Surpac file from a DXF file.
Although a DXF file of lines and polylines may not contain all the textual data of a Surpac file it is sometimes useful to be able to create a Surpac file using the geometry found in a DXF file. This is how to do it using Pointor as a Dxf to Surpac converter.
Open the DXF file using the File | Open DXF file...
When you have chosen your DXF file you need to select which entities you want to import. For normal point lists you can choose POINTS LINES POLYLINES CIRCLES and or TEXTS. But if you intend to export the geometric data to a surpac file you should choose LINES and POLYLINES, as shown in the dialog below:
Note that the dialog tells you how many of each type of entity there is. In the above example there are 4228 lines.
Now click on OK and you'll get this final window:
Now you can zoom and pan the data. Then you can save the polylines and lines in the surpac format by clicking on the File | Save Point List... item. (Though strictly speaking the Surpac is not a list of points, rather a list of lines and/or polylines.)
Now you'll be presented with a dialog which allows you to choose the format of the file you are going to save.
Choose Surpac as shown above. I recommend that you leave the 'start writing from row' setting to 1, unless you really know what you are doing!
There is a demo of Pointor which you can download and install to test with your own data DXF and surpac files:

In this tutorial, you learn how to import PointCab results as DXF files into Autodesk products, such as AutoCAD.
To Import A Dxb File Autocad Lt For Mac Os
In order to import PointCab DXF files into AutoCAD, take the following steps:
- Start AutoCAD.
- Create a new AutoCAD file.
- Type the command INSERT into the input field.
- Select the corresponding DXF file in the dialog box.
NOTE: If you copy the files (output) created by PointCab to another folder or if you send the files to a colleague/client, you must make sure to create the corresponding DXF file once again when you have used absolute paths (default setting in PointCab). You may also want to use relative paths in DXF files. However, this can cause problems because some software applications do not support relative paths in DXF files. The most intuitive approach is to use the free LSE Converter to create a new DXF file.
